clearcodeMD is a billing assistant for Ontario physicians: it helps you record cases, calculate OHIP fees from the Ministry's Schedule of Benefits, generate claim files, provide an MCEDT portal workflow, and reconcile Ministry response files.
clearcodeMD is not billing, legal, or accounting advice. Fee calculations follow the published Schedule and its general rules, but the Schedule contains exceptions and combinations no software can guarantee to cover. You remain responsible for every claim submitted under your billing number — review claims before submission, and verify unusual code combinations against the Schedule of Benefits.
Keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for activity under your account. One account per physician. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the service (e.g. attacks on the API).
Eligible accounts receive one 30-day trial per OHIP billing number, with no card required. Professional is not available yet. If a paid plan begins, you'll be notified in advance and asked to opt in — no silent charges. Payments will be processed by Stripe.
Patient data stays on your device and remains yours (see the Privacy Policy). Export or back it up at any time. If you stop using clearcodeMD, your records remain readable on your device and in your encrypted backups.
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, clearcodeMD's liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim arose. We are not liable for ministry rejections, missed deadlines, or lost revenue — though the app tries very hard to keep those from happening.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email to account holders. Continued use after a change is acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
