Clear about claim submission
Your billing number and Ministry credentials stay under your control.
Private early access
clearcodeMD creates ministry-format EDT batches, opens the MCEDT portal, and helps you attach the selected batch. You sign in with your own GO Secure credentials, review the portal details, and confirm submission there. The app does not store your GO Secure password.
Before public launch
Direct MC EDT web-service integration is planned before public release, subject to the Ministry's conformance process and production access. Until that work is complete, the clinician-confirmed MCEDT portal workflow remains the submission path.
What syncs
Cloud account vs. encrypted backup
The two serve different purposes.
Account sync
Your profile, practice settings, favourite codes, and a limited financial claim ledger can sync to your account. It does not include patient names, health numbers, images, PDFs, or EDT files.
Encrypted backup
Use a passphrase-protected backup to restore the exact local records, generated files, and images to another device. Keep the passphrase separately and safely.
